Qualified bloggers are welcome to receive complimentary tickets once each season and we trust that your visit will allow you to take in all of the exciting thrills that Six Flags Great America has to offer. Tickets must be claimed by the blogger representative submitting the request.

Please fill out a brief synopsis about your blog, social media account or YouTube Channel. Applications will be reviewed and processed once a determination has been made on your qualifications. Due to a high volume of requests for tickets through this program, please allow at least 15 business days for a response to your request.
What are the requirements?
Under the Six Flags Blogger program, you must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for participation in the program.
- Must have 2500 unique visitors per month
- Must average 8 number of posts per month
- Must be either a theme park, parent, travel, lifestyle, or entertainment blogger
- Must have a family-friendly focused audience
- Must be willing to write a blog about their visit within 48 hours after enjoying the park
- Must be willing to do at least one social media post, with a park tag, on all platforms about your park visit.
Applicants located in our markets will receive the highest priority of acceptance. Applicants not located in the Midwest but looking to do a more hands-on collaboration are welcome to submit- please be thorough in your application. Please note, Six Flags reserves the right to deny complimentary tickets to any person or entity at any time, especially those who violate the Six Flags Blogger Program policy and/or park policy.
Six Flags Rider Responsibility Policy: Guests must exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner while riding. Guests must also obey all oral and written warnings and properly use all ride safety equipment provided. Please refer to specific guidelines posted at the entrance of every ride.
Additional Six Flags Policies: No loose articles such as cameras and cell phones are allowed on rides. Guests are not permitted in restricted areas, which include ride and backstage areas. Selfie sticks, Go Pro mounts, monopods and similar devices are not allowed inside Six Flags parks.
When can I apply?
We are thrilled that you are interested in visiting our park to share your experience with your followers. We accept applications throughout the season. Submissions for park admission can only be made once per season. Additional opportunities to attend either a blogger event or exclusive previews may be granted throughout the season.
When am I given tickets?
Please allow at least 15 business days to review your submission. If approved, you will be given up to (4) four general admission tickets that will be valid for the current season, minus any blackout dates listed. Bloggers are responsible for paying parking and any additional purchases made within the park. To ensure that your request is seen within the timeframe listed, please make sure your submission is sent to the correct park. If you are interested in visiting more than one Six Flags park, you are responsible for submitting your application to each park. Approval at each park will vary and is based upon their demographic and park publicity needs. Note: your acceptance to the program is only valid for the season in which you applied; bloggers must reapply each season.
How frequently can I request tickets?
You may request blogger admission tickets once per season. Additional opportunities to attend either a blogger event or exclusive previews may be granted throughout the season and will be communicated via email. Each blogger, who submits a request, will be added to our blogger distribution list to receive exciting news and updates specific to our park. Six Flags reserves the right to deny a request for tickets at any time.
What am I required to write?
If a blogger accepts tickets to attend an exclusive event, it is mandatory for a post to be published about the event within 48 hours after your visit. Bloggers must also be willing to share at least one social media post on all of their platforms about their visit. Although mandatory, Six Flags will never dictate the content of the blog and encourages bloggers to share their honest opinions. We do ask that if you have a problem or concern during your visit that you contact the public relations department to discuss so that we can make sure the issue is addressed.
In addition, all interested bloggers will be added to our media distribution list to receive press releases and updates about what’s going on at the park that may be used to engage their followers. It is encouraged, but not mandatory, to share this content.
