In-Park Catering Services

Don't experience the park on an empty stomach!

Our catered outings offer a complete day of food and fun for groups of 100 or more without breaking the bank. Take the guesswork out of food planning and let our trained, expert staff take the lead. Choose from signature picnic staples like burgers and hot dogs or enjoy chicken, pasta, barbeque, desserts and more. 

Every package includes park admission and an all-you-can-eat buffet so absolutely no-one leaves hungry. Plus, the entire picnic experience takes place in your own private pavilion where you and your crew will truly be treated like VIPs. You can even customize your day with fun add-ons like souvenir photos, private shows, caricature artists, games, DJs, face painters and more.

Our Picnic Area can accommodate groups of any size so it's the perfect venue for both the smallest and largest group outings. Large groups can even plan the ultimate getaway with an exclusive event that includes private access to the entire park for a truly unique and unforgettable experience – all for often less than the regular admission price. Leave the planning to us and focus on spending a fun-filled day with your group. We promise you take all the credit.

Picnic in the Park

Groups of 50-99 can enjoy our Picnic in the Park package. This package includes park admission and a pre-selected buffet meal. Picnic in the Park is available on select days and space is limited.

Performance Opportunities
Each season, we welcome local acts from around Southern California to perform at the park.

There are several opportunities depending on your group type.

Performance Details

We welcome many types of groups to perform: marching and concert bands, choral ensembles, dance troupes, and more! Performances are held on the Golden Bear Sierra Stage or on an uncovered 90x120 foot concrete area. We supply two microphones, speakers, a CD player and technician for all performances. Any additional requests should be made while making the reservation but we may not be able to accommodate all requests. Groups must have 15 or more performers to participate in this program. Marching Bands have the option of marching through the park on a pre-determined 20 minute route.

Putting this program together is easy as 1, 2, 3...

  1. Select the date and time of your performance. Performances are held any regular operating day and last 30 minutes. Please call Six Flags Special Events at 661-255-4501 to check availability and make reservation.
  2. Once date has been reserved with Six Flags Special Events, please download and submit the completed order form, with payment, at least 10 days prior to your reservation.
  3. GET READY FOR FUN! Practice your performance and get ready to be a part of the Six Flags Experience!

Discount Pricing for Educational Groups
Educational groups receive special rates and discounts on tickets to Six Flags. The size of your discount depends on the size of your group.

Groups of 100 or More

Groups of 100 or more can save over 50% off the cost of regular admission tickets. To learn more about bringing your group of 100 or more to the park, please call 661-255-4501.

Groups of 15 to 99

Smaller groups of 15 to 99 students also receive special pricing on tickets to Six Flags. Buy your tickets in advance and pay just $41.99 per student -- a savings of over $41 off the general admission price. All group orders receive one complimentary admission for every 15  pre-purchased tickets.

Two-week advance purchase required for tickets to be mailed back to you. Minimum purchase of 4 business days in advance for tickets to be held at Will Call.

Online Ordering of 15-99 tickets: Buy 15-99 tickets online and print them immediately. Orders of 50-99 can also be shipped. Online orders require credit card payment.

 

We host a number of special educational events just for schools and youth groups. Many of these events are designed to meet special curricular standards.

15 people.

How much of a deposit do you require?

There is not deposit for our tickets. You must purchase all of your tickets in advance.

Is there a processing fee?

There will be one processing fee per order.

What is the process for booking an educational group visit?

When you are ready to purchase tickets, please visit the groups page and purchase your tickets from the website with a credit card at least the day before your visit. If you are going to be paying with a check, cashier’s check, or money order, please send in the order form on the groups page along with your form of payment arriving to us at least 3 days before your visit.

How can we cancel or reschedule my school’s visit?

Once tickets are purchased, they are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable. If you need to visit another day this season, just give us a call at 661-255-4501.

How should I prepare for my schools’ visit?

Make sure to purchase your tickets before you arrive either online or over the phone. Let your students know that there is not outside food or drinks or selfie sticks allowed inside of the park. Be ready to have an amazing day at the Thrill Capital of the World!

Can my group attend on any day or just certain days?

You will be able to attend Six Flags Magic Mountain any day the park is open to the general public.

Food and Meals

What kind of food/dining packages are available?

For groups of 15 people or more, we offer Meal Deal vouchers that are good for a combo meal inside of the park. We offer picnic packages to groups that are 100 people or more. To learn more about the picnic options, please call (661) 255-4501.

Do you offer vegetarian or special dietary options?

Yes we do! Please visit our Dining page on our website for more information.

Are we allowed to bring in outside food and drinks?

No outside food or beverages are allowed inside of the park, unless a guest has a dietary restriction. You can bring in a sealed water bottle or an empty reusable water bottle.

General Questions

How much does each ticket delivery option cost?

Our normal processing fee is $8.99. Rush orders may require additional fees.

Can Bugs Bunny or Batman visit our group?

As long as Bugs Bunny is not snacking on some carrots and Batman is not saving Gotham City, they will be meeting guests in the park!

What happens if the park closes due to weather?

We are a rain or shine park, but in the event that the park does close, our team will handle each group’s situation on a case-by-case basis.

A student had a ticket lost or stolen. What can we do?

Please call our Group Sales department at (661) 255-4501 and we will be able to assist you.

What is your policy regarding chaperones?

We offer 1 complimentary chaperone ticket for every 15 group tickets purchased. If you need more chaperone tickets, you will be able to purchase those for the current group rate.

Do you have private meeting spaces?

We have two picnic areas and two theaters available. If you are interested in using any of our facilities, please call (661) 255-4501 to check availability.

How many chaperones can I bring?

You can bring as many chaperones as you would like.

How far in advance do I need to pay for my tickets?

If you want your tickets shipped to you in advance, you must purchase them 2-weeks before your visit. Otherwise, you can purchase them the day before your visit online and print them out at your convenience.

How early can we arrive on the day of our event? When does the parking lot open?

The parking lot will open 1 hour before the park opens.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept are credit cards, checks, cashier’s checks, and money orders.

Do we all have to arrive and enter the park at the same time?

You do not have to arrive and enter the park together, but everyone needs to have their own admission ticket.

When is payment due?

What personal items/types of bags are allowed in the park?

You are allowed to bring in a backpack or purse with your personal items. Please refer to the Park Policies page on our website to see an extensive list of items allowed and not allowed into the park.

Can I change my order?

Once tickets are purchased they are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable. You can always add more tickets to your order on the day of your visit at Ticket Will Call for the same rate you originally paid, but you will not receive any additional complimentary tickets.

How much money (cash) should students bring?

This is up to the individual’s discretion.

Can students use their Season Passes to enter the park?

Students can use a valid Season Pass during a group visit. Do not include them in your ticket counts when deciding on how many tickets to purchase and receiving the complimentary tickets.

A student needs to leave early. Can their parent pick them up?

A parent can pick up a student, but the student must be escorted out by a chaperone.

What are the methods of delivery for tickets?

We can ship your tickets to you, have them held at Ticket Will Call, or you can print them off.

My group includes children with special needs. How do I proceed?

What kind of learning guides or worksheets are available?

We do not have any learning guides or worksheets available at this time. We do have an educational event called Outdoor Classroom that is available in the Spring that has an assembly and hand-on activities for students to participate in. This event is Math and Physics based and geared towards students that are in 6th grade – 10th grade.
