Six Flags Over Texas To Hold Annual Show Auditions

The search begins for the best talent in North Texas

ARLINGTON, Texas — January 24, 2019 — Six Flags Over Texas, the Thrill Capital of Texas, is searching for the best of the best performers in the Dallas / Fort Worth area to come and show off their talents as the search for a dynamic cast for this year’s shows gets underway. The park is hosting two entertainment auditions over the next two weekends—January 26 and February 2—to prepare for the upcoming 2019 season.

Dancers and Singers will show off their performance chops on Saturday, January 26. Dancers will audition at 2:00 p.m. and singers will begin at 4:00 p.m. On Saturday, February 2, Costumed Characters and Show Emcees will have an opportunity to audition starting at noon.

Prior to showing up for the audition, all performers will need to fill out an application form on sixflagsjobs.com.

Auditions will be at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, located at 1800 Lamar Ave. in Arlington. Registration for each session begins one hour prior to the start time. Additional audition requirements are available for download at: sixflags.com/overtexas/special-events/other-events/2019-park-auditions.

Six Flags Over Texas was the first in the world to bring Broadway-style productions to a regional theme park. Since opening in 1961, many famous entertainers began their careers at the park, including Kelly Clarkson, Jeff Dunham, Todrick Hall and John Denver.

The 2019 season begins on Saturday, February 23. This year, the park will employ nearly 4,000 seasonal team members throughout the park. For more information on available positions, visit: sixflagsjobs.com.
